This is a simple and cheap project, and what's more there are so many variations you can do...Ceramic Tile Coasters...
For these I used some ceramic tiles (¢20 each) scrapbooking paper, Modge Podge (I love this stuff as much as I love freezer paper), squares of felt cut to size, and an hot glue gun to glue felt on. They have come a long way in terms of paper. Since I don't scrapbook, I have no real use for it. But, I love the designs and choices that are out there. So infrequently I'll buy some on an impulse and there it sits in my cupboard waiting...this is a perfect use! The next time however, I have some other ideas for these coasters: photographs, vintage christmas cards, vintage postcards, old valentines, paper dolls, comic books....
